I think the incentives are different and I think that’s important.
Likes cost nothing and so can be thrown around with abandon whereas zap have actual value. I can’t see too many people zapping bigots and trolls for uninformative rage posts (at least that’s what I hope) which means the best, most valuable, content will rise to the top because people will be prepared to zap it.
