I see a lot of people pissing on ProtonMail's chips for including an "AI" writing assistant.

But, in full fairness, they offer a one-click off switch. That's a lot better than most other AI integrations.

I honestly don't mind that they're doing a bit of bandwagon jumping. It's probably sensible to try new things and attract new customers.

I am highly educated & literate. Not everyone is so fortunate.
