I went back onto Cyberpunk 2077 on Linux and everything is so much smoother:
The Xbox controller works wirelessly with no latency (though setting it up fails on regular KDE, you'll need bluetoothctl for that)
xpadneo actually maps the Share button on the controller to the same button Steam uses for screenshots, so games running via Steam can be screenshotted just fine.
I can play in Ultra with no stuttering, while keeping Firefox on in the background.
Linux is not perfect, but Windows was meant to be the gaming platform and it can't do that correctly anymore, I guess.
