Irish people and Slavs were not discriminated against for being white. They were discriminated against for not being white *enough.* Punch magazine described the Irish as "the missing link between the chimpanzee and the Negro." Historian Charles Kingsley described the Irish as "white chimpanzees." So save both our time with the false equivalencies plz.
