A curious aspect of The Guardian’s note about no longer using Twitter (https://www.theguardian.com/media/2024/nov/13/why-the-guardian-is-no-longer-posting-on-x):
‘…resources could be better used promoting our journalism elsewhere.’
They’re not saying they WILL use another service or even plan to. They just *could*.
I am curious to see if they just have an account on a central Mastodon or Bluesky server, or maybe set up their own instances, or abandon text-based social media altogether.
