The Right to Safety Constitutional Amendment will:
Raise the federal minimum age to buy a firearm from 18 to 21.
Mandate universal background checks.
Institute a reasonable waiting period for all gun purchases.
Ban civilian purchase of assault weapons.
And here is my pledge to you: If and when this passes in California, I will put significant resources behind getting it introduced and passed in other states.
