A lot of what look like actual troll accounts trying to explain how federation works to me in the replies.
If I attempt to scrape my server for posts (the public timeline), I will only get a fraction of the posts of the entire Fediverse. Not every server federates with this one. Also, many servers have this API endpoint disabled. It is therefore much more effort to scrape Fedi for model training.
