I don't even mind if there is a clear place to turn that mode on/off and then have a more robust set of settings/options. More complex apps have done that for a long time.
The problem I keep running into (from a UX/UI perspective) are hidden features behind a click & hold on some UI element. I suppose mobile OSs have made that a bit more common, but do regular people generally approach apps by touch/hold all over the place to find these hidden gems? (Maybe some kind of indication sub-options exist for a UI element?)
