Urgh. I may have to burn down the desktop rig and redo it with straight Fedora KDE. Kinoite is cool, but I keep hitting roadblocks for development, etc. that come from the immutable root. I think by using Flatpak judiciously I can account for the access threat model while maintaining the flexibility I need.
