I tried it myself. I let ChatGPT write texts and send them to friends and asked for an opinion. My wife said: Oh, the text is quite good, but I can't see your personality as an author like in your other texts in it. She would never have thought it was written by ChatGPT.
Im commenting this not to put forward any argument in either direction. Just as a fact.
Perhaps we have to overthink what human intelligence means to us. Genius, most likely. But on average, people are average, not genius.
