Canada is full on embracing higher levels of inflation.
Heat map:
- highest per capita covid printing
- stopped rates hikes before all other western nations
- huge "inflation relief" handouts
- increased government spending.
All public knowledge.
My outside the box thoughts are to keep real estate prices high so that banks don't have to own the losses of an asset bubble burst.
Any other ideas? (Outside of standard Trudeau reasoning)
