Roughing out a new piece based on the slate fences that are characteristic of North Wales.
I'm making it up as I go along and I find that to be the best way of working. 'Mistakes' will (have) happen(ed), but the pay off in not having a clear sense of where I'm heading is that things suggest themselves. There is something of the night about this piece which I had not envisaged when I started.
