It is absolutely not true that all or most Israelis see Palestinians as non humans. It is though true that when your own family and friends are being brutally raped kidnapped and slaughtered you become more interested in security. You don't know what it's like and your friend doesn't know what it's like either by visiting. My family lived through the massacre itself, and my Dad while being a refugee is still providing education privileges to his Palestinian students.
