#SurveillanceCapitalism was invented there by corporations running on military contracts.

Intelligence and national security is something completely different, that target specific individuals (still granting them human rights).

#FISA702 does not recognise any right to non-US citizens.

So, it's not matter of Ethics.

#USA have been a threat to external democracies since the WWII.

Often a mortal threat.
