I was a Christian in the sense that I was a leftist. And really it was applying those morals in an atheistic context.

But I never believed. There's no proof and more than that, the claims are impossible. This was the same for me and Santa Claus. How can one guy visit 1 billion homes in one night, that's literally like 1 millisecond per house even less I'm sure. And this would occur to me when I would watch Christmas specials.

And you may say, well obviously it's made up. Same with Jesus and Yaweh.

But the moral system was something I grabbed on to. Forgive and try your best to help others particularly those in need.

That trick took me a lot longer to figure out. But reading "The Fountainhead" helped a lot plus life experience.
