#FroggyTales It is almost Christmas and I still have two tadpoles. They have back legs but not frogs yet. New Years? This is the latest ever by 4-5 months. I have raised 150-200 tadpoles in an 18" bowl this year. Heaven help me if they all come home to mate. #Frogs #Nature.

We can make a difference. Frogs eat insects and are food for raccoons, birds, foxes etc. This tiny ecosystem has brought me so much fun. It all started about 7 years ago when my grand daughter and I rescued some #tadpoles from a disappearing drainage ditch.

Have no seen and recorded mating calls, mating, frog spawn, hatching, metamorphosis. It costs nothing more than a few gallons of water and some lettuce.
