Maybe I'll see if I can get it working. Thing with Twitter DMs is that you'd see the symbol of a message because you were in there anyway for your main feed - like here. But a special messaging app/server/mabob requires a level of deliberation possibly neither of us are up to (she's very ill and often offline)
