Seems like a lot of mobile screens are greater than 550px nowadays (at least according to the Chrome inspector).
I went ahead and just copied the Tailwind way of doing it, which is to default to rows and switch to columns for screens >= 1024px (lg) https://tailwindcss.com/docs/screens
