Just went on my first ride with the 1962 #Mercury Meteor and noticed it was running a little hot.
Cut the ride short and headed home. Just as I was pulling up the heater core in the cabin released a stream of steaming coolant on the floor.
Luckily the carpet is already in shreds due to previous water damage and is due to be replaced anyway.
I'm just going to bypass the heater for now since it's mostly going to be a summer toy.
Easy fix and no other damage!
