Ultimate sd upscale doesn't consume more vram than regular img2img, because it uses regular img2img by splitting the picture into areas and redrawing each one separately 🤷♀️
It is also a great thing to run img2img on a giant puctures.
Yes it could take some time, but for me personally it isn't a big problem because i don't upscale everything.
