Feels like it should basically be cosine error, so if you shoot within 45 degrees of straight backwards it would deorbit about half a pass later.
Certainly if you want to land it in someone's yard, you'll need better pointing and timing and probably a few tries, and I've heard reloading a crossbow is difficult in a spacesuit.
If you're Russian and fire it directly through a solar panel then it will not have enough velocity to immediately deorbit.
