Interview critique (based on my own mistakes over the years):
1. Just ask the guest a question. I watched a TV anchor ask a question that was actually THREE questions (plus background) and the guest didn’t know which one to answer.
2. Don’t tell the guest, “We just have a few seconds left, so please answer briefly”.
It’s the interviewer’s job to watch the clock, not the guest’s. If you’re facing a post, give a quick summary rather than ask another question. Much smoother.
