It does not matter what ordinals is. It does not matter if we think it's spam or not. Someone is paying the transaction fee and therefore it is important for someone.
The discussion about ordinals is a discussion about censorship! And nothing is as censorship resistant as bitcoin. So yes, whether we like it or not, ordinals will be regulated by the market not by censorship.
So, am I reading this right? Ordinals users are spamming the chain? What are these "ordinals"? Are they just like nfts, ie a token with data pointing to a jpeg on someone else's computer somewhere?
