Ok, got Waydroid running on Debian 12 with Gnome. I stopped this test for now because running the Whatsapp Dummy Setup on Waydroid does not work. Furthermore changing from XFCE to Gnome does not work for me. I know personal taste, but after playing around a little bit, it is 100% that I stay with XFCE. Will stay on Android-x86 for now.
