⚠️ PROGRESS SHARING CHECKPOINT ⚠️

What's a strong belief you held on this date last year, that you now look back and laugh at?

I'll go first:

2023:
"Fruit & honey are healthy. Strict #Carnivore people are too extreme; #AnimalBased folks who promote lots of meat AND fruit have found the pinnacle of human nutrition."

2024:
Welp, the "crazy carnivores" were right. Fruit & honey are indeed a negative for your body; it all just turns into sugar in your gut (plus some bonus indigestable fiber in fruit's case). If optimal health is your goal, 100% animal products and ZERO carbohydrates is the true bottom of the rabbit hole. Some folks can tolerate certain carbs & sugars better than others, but those who promote these things as HEALTHY are either under-researched, or rationalizing their own individual sugar addictions via mental gymnastics on the public stage.

I give the bulk of the credit for this knowledge upgrade to @anthony_chaffee. To anyone who's in line with 2023 Ben above, I dare you to take the deep dive into the Plant Free MD podcast, and not come out the other side with your mind blown and your refrigerator void of all vegetables AND fruit.
