When I was about seven years old, I was playing outside one evening when I noticed there was much more sunlight than there should have been.
“Is the sun never going to set again?” I asked my mother.
“No, it’s just the summer solstice,” she told me and explained how it worked. I was mesmerized. What an incredible day of the year this is.
I’ve loved it ever since. ☀️
