#WritersCoffeeClub Do I like maps? Oh no, I love them, aha.
I can spend many hours looking at maps, and I used to be quite good at drawing them, too. I have imbibed some principles of geography, so my maps aren't too unrealistic (I hope). For the Aiella stories I had a proper map done (see attached), but made the mistake of writing stories first, which meant some serious edits later to retcon them to the map. Once you have a map, it can of itself generate more stories (and more world building).
