Congrats! Here here to a healthy lifestyle. Being Muslim, imbibing was never part of my cultural upbringing. Learning more about the harms on a biochemical level, it always was interesting that even quite intelligent people and folks in the medical field had no problems partaking in and promoting the dominant culture of alcohol consumption, itself known to be deleterious to health. I mean you can regularly find cirhorrotic patients in US hospitals to see the extreme results of alcohol consumption culture.
