All the techbro coup shenanigans going on in the US right now and the massive technofeudal "land grabs" all over the world really, really do not help alleviate my disillusionment and demoralization over my current jobless situation, lemme tell ya.
Right now, trying to find a job in tech feels like siding with the enemy to me, and it's a feeling I can't shake. The cognitive dissonance of waiting for the dust to settle but having a gut-feeling that it either won't settle or will end up settling in an untenable place is keeping me on the ragged edge. And seeing it coming for months or years hasn't helped me escape.
It's exhausting, y'all.
