Before Ulver shifted to electronic music (with excellent results), they were one of the most promising and interesting black metal bands from the Norway's dark forge.
Their first album "Bergtatt" is still an unrivalled example of folk black. Dreamy, atmospheric, yet dark, epic and dramatic at the same time.
