The air raids were in response to unprovoked hamas rocket attacks. Every single airstrike was preceded by a hamas rocket attack which you would prefer to pretend never happened.
After the October 7th invasion of Israel, the worst attack in the nation's history, the Israeli response was assured. The hamas strategy knew this very well and took it into account via decades of preparation. In other words, hamas deliberately demanded the destruction of Gaza as part of a doomed-to-fail campaign to demonize Israel, aided by useful idiots such as yourself who are only consigning Palestinians to further suffering.
