"content": "We would have no choice about following along with the industry continuation of AOSP. There might initially be more than one fork but it would probably end up being an industry trade consortium of OEMs continuing it. We could potentially join it depending on the requirements. We expect that would be much worse for us than AOSP developed by Google so we'd have a lot more work to do adding privacy and security improvements, rolling back the bad ideas they include, etc.",
