All I know about RFK Jr. is that he is connected to a powerful US political dynasty and is known for some sort of anti-vaccination sentiment (that I've never looked into).
The story says:
"While there are disproportionate rates of Covid-19 illness and death across different demographics, this has been attributed to racial disparities, not genetics."
But racial disparities can be genetic. Throwing a stone:
