Well, the problem with that is that if the ticket doesn't have Biden/Harris they lose 3-4 battle ground states before the election begins due to state election laws. Also a good chunk of non-PAC funding. Not to mention the Hillary camp is on the out with the Obama/Blinken/Blob camp -- they're even holding the DNC in Obama's state to show the blob is in control.
