Thanks for the input beavy, I thought the exact same thing too and was 50/50 on the idea initially.
I ran a test with the miner blasting the foam for a few hours and I did not smell anything smelly which is good 😆 . Later I will see if I can get my hand on some equipment to do an air quality test to make sure everything is OK for use. 🧑🔬
The idea is to make sure the air coming out is not too hot, but warm. To do this the machine will be underclocked and I'll have the chip temps lower than usual (fans running faster).
Worst case scenario, I will put the metal vents back in and remove any warm/hot air contact with the foam.
