This idea wasn't very well thought-out. The more entrenched the monopoly, the more essential it is to avoid a monoculture, the more Firefox have to be supported and encouraged to do better.
How do you measure "irrelevance"? By the amount of proprietary stuff Google gets away with forcing on us?
