The Mont Blanc I inherited (old enough that they were really a pen company still, not whatever monster they've turned into now) leaked and was generally terrible to write with. My €80 Rotring is plenty pretty, never leaks, and writes quite nicely even as a lefty. I find first drafts come easier on paper, and it's nice to have the experience feel nice.
