My problem is that people wear a tallis to a protest but I never ever see them at shul. I'm trying to say that meaningful #Jewish solidarity means also being in Jewish community and building there, not just whipping out your Jewish identity when convenient.
I used to be the guy whose Jewish identity was basically a vehicle to express my political views (mostly on Palestine) and actually that sucks. I was just a token Jew, even if there was a whole set of us.
