Every time I meet up with an avid conservative supporter in real life, it results in a surprisingly deep and nice conversation in which we both learn something, and come away better off and somewhat "de-polarized". Anyone else experience that or just me?
Maybe a factor in each case is being relaxed while talking. Easy when strolling the most pleasant solarpunk-ish parts of Auckland with a refreshing drink in hand. Hard when sitting in an average home in front of a brain-inflaming device.
