I feel you.
Taking out the powerful oligarchs would feel great, but I don't think would do anything meaningful for actually addressing the issues. There will always be another billionaire to push on the throttle of this suicide train.
I still have hope that meaningful change can be made within this system (even if we haven't seen it) but that is far from an argument against a need to also be trying to break the system and force it to change from the outside.
