The crossover is because nostr was invented by a Bitcoiner, fiatjaf.
So it just came naturally that Bitcoiners would be the first people to look into nostr.
Most Bitcoiners dislike shitcoins as you might know. We’re interested in nostr because it actually has a chance of working and specifically because it does not use a blockchain.
