Depends. If you seem to be trying to threaten or mug the general public, they can be a day wrecker. I, for one, welcome them whenever police can't be counted on to do their fucking job--and right now, they can't be counted on to do their fucking job.
It's just appropriate that they were originally created to fight the subway violence in New York decades ago (I think it was in the 70s? I was a kid at the time)... and here we are again. Same place, same reason.
