This gets at something i was thinking about recently. As evidenced by all the "grok is this real" posts you'll see under any meaningful claim these days if you go to twitter. A lot of these types of ideas come to me and others via social media, and it's amazing how often I'll just give up verifying any one detail because of how impossible it seems to be to get any sort of definitive answer. Maybe it's just a reflection on less centralized news sources...I dunno
