I’ve heard mention of an upcoming “cyber virus spread” across the open Internet, with plenty of propaganda, Clickbait, and fear mongering to boot.
Nonetheless, to mitigate attack vectors, building our platforms with the mindset of “even if a malicious entity gained complete control over every aspect of my company, we still can’t see your data” is so important.
The symbolism of the blindfold in my profile picture was first dreamed up by EricFJ (nprofile…uj6t) for our project, ConduitBTC (nprofile…3r8w), a platform for decentralized, distributed e-commerce that connect Customers directly to Merchants without a middle-man controlling the deal.
We merely introduce you two, and the rest is up to you. We don’t see your data (unless you want us to see it) since the whole checkout process happens on specially-structured NIP-17 direct messages.
We don’t need to see into your private life, and even if we ever wanted to, we simply couldn’t.
