Share a description of a place in your WIP
Still a 1st draft so no long descriptions yet. These are usually added later. I have this:
The door opened onto Earth. Every detail of that cottage was there. I ran my hand over the comfy couch and chairs. Floral upholstery and flagstone floors. Breezy curtains. Baskets on the walls and tables. All the trappings of another time. It made me sad, but the crackling fire in the hearth felt soothing. I detected a whiff of cedar.
