npub17nmsnlj395asphryxpsmngp7xtyp2egndrcyycu58kpnp646hapsqxdm57 (npub17nm…dm57) 🤣 I was wondering just how far out it was, but hadn't got around to working it out. I have a sneaking feeling that the "approximation" provided might actually be a closer approximation of, say, the prime number 7 than it is for the one that the article is actually about.
A number of bits in the article prompted a feeling of "aw, bless" from me, which is a considerable improvement on the feelings that most maths-focused articles from non-technical publications tend to trigger. It wasn't unnecessarily dismissive or negative about mathematics or mathematicians (though some people who have left comments on the article have tried), so it gets a thumbs-up from me despite - or possibly even because of - its complete lack of understanding of what's going on.
