Following a wise suggestion that the mystery several thousand new covid cases that were in the newly added cases total for the week but not in the last seven days daily totals might be delayed reporting of older cases, I checked versions of the MoH Github repo.

Comparing the 18th June to the 25th June state of the cases file there are two periods of change. 2022 and May/June 2024. But the 2022 changes do not involve any changes to the daily totals. 1/3
