I was looking at Relai this morning and see that they offer one fee-free transaction per month so seems a nice way to get started and get a feel for the process. I'll look into that in more detail.
I've looked at another P2P option called Robosats which looks good but, as you suggest with Peach, some of the premiums create a bit too much friction to actually proceed. Plus, some sats are needed to initiate a transaction so there's a slight catch-22 there also. Relai looks like a nice option to break that catch-22 if I do want to use Robosats at some point.
Likewise, I've had a look at Bisq but my laptop is old and it doesn't want to run successfully on it.
