My grandmother on her front porch. She lived in Little Havana, a short distance from the Orange Bowl. A big sports fan she would greet me when I walked back to her house after each Miami Dolphins home game. When they lost she'd wave her hand in disgust. When they won she was still a doubter.
She also held a long time grudge against the Dodgers for leaving Brooklyn.
She died 35 years ago and I still miss her.
