To build:
1) Start with a 1 gallon, food-safe plastic bucket. You can buy these for a $1.50 online or at a local hardware store. You can reuse bins such as protein-powder bins, or milk jugs.Make sure the bucket is not clear. If clear, paint or otherwise cover to prevent light from getting into the bucket and producing algae.
2) With a 2-inch bore hole bit, cut a 2 inch hole in the center of the lid. This allows for the pool noodle but also allows for a 2 inch net cup (yay versatility!)
Edit: As [@mathaetaes](
https://infosec.exchange/@mathaetaes) mentions, the plastic is thin enough that you can cut a circle in it with a box cutter or similar. Just be careful!
